Egg Bhurji Recipe (Scrambled Egg)
Today I will show you how to prepare the simple egg bhurji recipe. If you follow the simple tips that I show you in this video, the egg bhurji recipe will come out very tasty.
Equipment
- Frying Pan
- Gas stove
Ingredients
- Eggs
- sliced onions
- salt
- turmeric
- red chilli powder
- curry leaves
- oil
Instructions
- Light the stove and keep the pan on the stove.
- Add 4 teaspoons of oil to it.
- When the oil gets boiled, add sliced onions to it and saute them. Add a little more onions, they add to the taste of the egg bhurji as well as increase the quantity of bhurji.
- Let the onions saute and then add turmeric. Stir them.
- Now add red chilli powder and stir it.
- Now add salt and stir.
- Now add a few curry leaves.
- Now stir the mixture well so that the onion slices absorb the turmeric, red chilli powder and salt well.
- Now start breaking the eggs and add one by one. You should not start stirring the mixture immediately after adding the eggs. Ideally you should keep the stove in sim mode for 1-2 minutes and then slowly start stirring the mixture. Then leave aside the mixture for 1 minute and stir slowly after that. Following this will enhance the taste of your bhurji. Keep repeating the process until the mixture is settled.
- Turn the stove off and transfer the bhurji into a serving bowl. You may garnish your bhurji with coriander. That’s all, the tasty egg bhurji is now ready to be served!
